There are many selves within oneself. We have an observing self(sometimes), a thinking self(sometimes), a reactive self(all the time), a subjective self, a bodily self, a vulnerable self(hidden and protected), a false self to protect the vulnerable self, a physical self, a molecular self emitting light of various frequencies depending on the subjective influence at the time, a dependent self, a narcissistic self, a jealous self, a lusting self, etc.
I was listening to 1560 am this week and I heard a man saying as I understood it that 'We” as Tejanos listener shouldn't be so “closed minded ” about Tejano music and should listen to other music such as new groups and music beside tejano music. Guess what! We love our Tejano music and DO NOT want to listen to anything else!! And as a matter of fact they are still playing lots of music that is not tejano music. So whoever is selecting the music they play on 1560 they are truly not a tejano music lover!
