The first No?l,
The angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds
In fields as they lay
In fields where they
Lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night
That was so deep

No?l, No?l,
No?l, No?l
Born is the King of Israel!

They looked up
And saw a star
Shining in the East
Beyond them far
And to the earth
It gave great light
And so it continued
Day and night

No?l, No?l,
No?l, No?l
Born is the King of Israel!

This star drew night
To the northwest
O'er Bethlehem it
Took its rest
And there it did
Both stop and stay
Right o'er the place
Where Jesus lay

No?l, No?l,
No?l, No?l
Born is the King of Israel!

    Sue,

For software, I'd recommend Logos System 3 which I linked in my other post. You can choose a package tailored to your needs/interests. I have been using the Original Languages Library (includes the Vulgate), which now sells for $415.95, as my base library for over a decade (in earlier versions). It does some very nice lexical and other analyses, and comes with an extensive selection Greek and Hebrew texts, English texts, Syriac texts, Egyptian texts, lexicons, interlinears, etc.

Umm, The Barber of Seville was written by Rossini, not Mozart.

Sorry, I know you made that comment a long time ago but I just had to point that out as a band/orchestra geek myself. :-)

I was listening to 1560 am this week and I heard a man saying as I understood it that 'We” as Tejanos listener shouldn't be so “closed minded ” about Tejano music and should listen to other music such as new groups and music beside tejano music. Guess what! We love our Tejano music and DO NOT want to listen to anything else!! And as a matter of fact they are still playing lots of music that is not tejano music. So whoever is selecting the music they play on 1560 they are truly not a tejano music lover!

many of my favorite songs are political songs, and while i would agree that some of them are bad art, i wouldn't say most are. it seems much more likely to me that most non-political songs are bad art (there are a lot more non-political songs out there, and most of the songs made suck).i saw that interview, too. fucked up. kanye west is right: george bush doesn't care about black people. or more accurately, his administration doesn't care about anyone or anything that doesn't advance their own plans.]]>
