I agree that it is so important for teachers to bring more nonfiction texts into the classroom. You would think that teachers would already be doing so, given the fact that the majority of the texts on standardized tests are expository. Apparently though, that isn't enough to convince teachers to use nonfiction texts in the classroom. I think you are right, that many teachers don't bring nonfiction texts into the classroom because they are often quite difficult to read. However, as you said, if teachers give students strategies for reading nonfiction texts with more challenging vocabulary, students will be able to read and understand them. I hope that as we move toward a more technology-based education, teachers bring more nonfiction texts into the classroom. I have no doubts that students would benefit from it greatly.

I love Hanson and I know how talented they are. I don't really like Justin Bieber, but gotta admit he's got great singing techniques. Also, who says he can't play any instruments? He's a great drummer and an alright guitar and piano player.You're not wrong, you should have researched a bit more before affirming such things, though. About Hanson now, they all have multiple talents and they're incredibly amazing at what they do!
