Yeah, but if you have a bunch of adults pretending the outside world doesn't exist and they have kids, they're obviously going to teach the kids that the outside world doesn't exist so that is what the kids will learn. Those kids will grown up, stay in the Village (cause there is no other place), have kids, teach them that the Village is all there is…so eventually the entire society (helped along by brain-washed new additions occasionally!) will be unaware of an outside world. Pretty devious, eh?
