Ann Wilsons vocals are the dogs bollocks in female rock. No competition, no contest, no arguement. End of.

A few months ago my two grandchildren were playing thier little guitars, and making up songs.I put this up on the p.c. & asked them ” do you want to see what you can do if you practice?” & they agreed. As they watched and ann started to belt out this song, The 5 yr. old girl says “dedjudj twyts!” I held in my laugh, and didn’t mention about the cursing. Both kids were just fixed on this song bieng performed, unmovable. They never seen anything like it. So, from the mouths of babes….

Probably my favorite Heart song. I saw them in Atlanta just this past Wednesday and I was hoping they would perform this one, but they didn’t. Still, I’m so glad that I was able to see them live and it was an awesome show! Love these ladies so much.

This has always been one of my favorites from Heart…how can you not love it? This and Nada One. Hell…I love all of Dog and Butterfly!

  6. paulsmith109 says:

I agree that the drummer is awful – no sense of timing whatsoever. Poor Mike Derosier!

  7. wasteoffood says:

Chillingly beautiful song. I don’t know what inspired this drummer to rewrite Michael Derosiers gorgeously nuanced drum part. This is just your average drummer thrashing about with hardly a sense of this amazing song – no restraint – no musicality. It really taints this masterpiece.

Saw them live in 1979 when they were touring on this album.
They were such perfectionists and hit every note live just like on the album
when they did this song. Truly awesome show !!
