It's all perception, and different polls may find different percentages, and everyone's perceptions change over time, of course. But these were “moderate” centrist citizens presumably seeking better political problem-solving for all of America in the future, better than the major party gamesmanship that is so frustrating on every issue including these most crucial ones — and so I do think it suggests education will continue to be absolutely crucial to public planning, voting and decision-making.
