Man, Ann’s voice is like a semi coming at you down a highway. It is impossible to miss. These two are such lovely people-you can tell by how natural they are together on stage, never hurts their from one of the most beautiful places on Earth-Washington state.
Perfect!
Truly Amazing performance. Ann and Nancy have gotten even better in age. Thank you so much Heart, you are the soundtrack of my generation!
@RangRing68 You got that right she is right up there. I think she looks her age now and that hurts her I really dont know why?
@Chipi64 Yeh I bought this ablumin 1977 and they are awesome! I love this album Dreamboat Annie!
Best Heart song ever! I love this band – she is the greatest female rock singer ever!
goin to see heart in august 2010 my dream has came true
i’m going to see Heart in Mattawa Ont July 22/10!! My dreamboat is heading to them!
Nancy Wilson is so beautiful, gentle, and amazing – what a woman. Cameron Crowe… you lucky son of a gun.
i like this live 2002 version more than the studio version . Ann has improved her voice control . older now but imho the sisters are much better . and i had many a party to their music in the 70’s and know their sound well . this is Excellent
Oh I don’t know Karen Carpenter ? They were considered to be soft rock !!!!
Bringing me back to my first concert.
Passion is alive and well, after all these years. You are Heart heroes in Seattle Washington, and look how far you have come. God bless you!
Two of the most talented women in Rock!!!
Since 1976’s DREAMBOAT ANNIE album, Heart has given us an ample amount of FM memores and top-40 hits. Even in 2002, 26 years later, Ann & Nancy still sound amazing. They should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Ann Wilson is the greatest female vocalist in rock history!
They will get in within the next 5 years!
AMAZING! enough said
WHY isn’t Heart in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? There are so many artists that deserve to be included but are completely ignored and some that have had a couple of hits and are inducted as soon as they are nominated.I think that the whole thing is just a payoff. Run DMC is in there but not Heart what a joke.
Amazing voices!
So good to hear it again.
When I was kid I remember Heart playing at a local club in my town called the Purple Monkey. Years later I saw Heart a couple of times at an event called Summer Sundays at the old Empire Stadium in Vancouver which was a great outdoor venue for concerts.
They are still both sexy too!
I think Ann Wilson is perhaps the best singer of our era.
Nancy’s harmonies are right up there too, like Dog & Butterfly with the Major 7th harmony… that makes me break down in tears, and I’m a straight man.
Not to mention Nancy’s incredible fingerpicking…
After all these years they can still do it in the same key too… wow.
@alexedsell1988 – I agree… I’ve never heard better vocals than Ann and Nancy Wilson, in 39 years. It’s my 39th birthday as well.
Lovely harmonies . Girls Aloud should try harmonies.
FUCK! the are good! honestly i havent heard better voices i dont think anyone could replicate it this good. what a pipe!
Donut wizard. DONUT WIZARD!
I live in near seattle I live in woodinville thanks seattle is a great city
YOU SAW COLIN?!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I live in Seattle, the best place in the world
. Pike Place Market rocks.
DUDE IT’S THE DONUT WIZARD!!! He was there when I visited the market back it 2004. He’s so awesome. I waited in this crazy long line just to receive donuts infected by his magic. Also if you can find Pike Place Stompers on 1st and Pike Street they’re musicians often accompanied by swing dancers, which is tons of fun
You look like a Seattle type dude. Like a postercard for Seattle would have a picture of you on it.
Donuts! They look so delicious! And so unhealthy! Which is part of why they look so delicious!
At 0:26, is that the sculpture entitled “Conjoined”?? The one with two metal trees whose branches are touching each others?
Wind turbans??
And yeah, Seattle is pretty cool. I’ve only been there once even though I live in Vancouver, but the Public Market is awesome…
That’s so ironic that you thought that no one would pay you for something you’d do anyway, when that’s exactly what they’re doing now.
OMG. I am so jealous you saw Colin Mocherie and Brad Sherwood!!!!
hank, just try driving up the road to Mt. Baker ski lodge. IT IS SCARY LIKE…well, like….hmmm. The clown with big shoes in the bottom of Pike Place. Scary Clown is SCARY.
“No one would pay you to do something you would just do anyway” = Additionality!
Seattle is awesome!
luckily I live near it!
hells yah! i dont actually live in seattle but im about an hour north. but i fully intend to move there as soon as possible. because ur thought that seattle rocks is COMPLETELY TRUE!
I wonder what happened to the donut wizard.
i shall freak out as well.
COLIN AND BRAN!!! XD
I’m nearly three years late, but let me freak out too: COLIN MOCHRIE AND BRAD SHERWOOD!
Yay seattle
pike place market! love that place… lol
haha, I live near Seattle and it is called Pike Place Market, not Public Market. But yes, it is pretty amazing.
