thanks so much for this
@Maxshard
Yeah, that’s not entirely true. Maybe it lost some viewers when Niles and Daphne finally got together, but the show was still on for four more years! That’s impressive and even more so that it had eleven complete seasons! That’s a hella of a run for any tv show let alone a comedy! When it finished, it did so because it was time but millions of people would have stuck around for many more seasons. I know I would have!
The Moons are quite the rowdy bunch…
“But what ever it was it was great!”

“I know what’s going on here – the dog, the cane- he’s lost his vision, hasn’t he?”
@Maxshard i agree with you. I’ve watched all the episodes and for me the show became rubbish when Niles and Daphne got together
Brian Cox is the man
@Maxshard I heartily disagree. This stretch of episodes here is a great example of high quality writing and entertainment.
Niles & Frasier certainly enjoy their drink driving ^.^
@HardcoreRaVeR161187 bril
funny
@Cleggy Have you seen the first five series, because the show had dipped a great deal in quality by the time this episode was made. The writers had run out of steam and the actors were struggling to keep the ball in the air.
The last few seasons, until the final 11th season, are remarkably disappointing and you can tell that actors are trying hard to do their best with some pretty mediocre writing and lame plots . . .
Don’t see why your comment created negative feelings.
This is my absoulute favorite episode from the first time I saw it. It’s a shame Brian Cox couldn’t reprise his role as Mr. Moon in other episodes. Thanks for posting.
I love how Frasier kept Roz’s ‘evaluation’ and put it in his pocket!
Gentlemen, this lad has traveled all the way from America to re-unite me with my wife!
Booooooo!
Maybe she wasn’t a bitch in the first place. Maybe she just changed over the years.
to be honest… y did Daph father married a bitch in the first place?
I think it’s funny how they all change their minds when Niles offers them to buy a round of drinks! LOL
=|
when it said 1:57 i instinctively looked at my clock.
…I’ll give you three guesses as to what time it is.
Thanks. I don’t, either. I guess everyone has an opinion. Thank you for appreciating my comment.

Jeff also says during the course of the episode “Why are you dressed like Mr. Rodgers and talking like Frasier?”
The talking like Frasier reference reminded me of my favorite half an hour of television. Frasier in its first season finale also referenced My Dinner with Andre. They did an episode of the show called “My Coffee with Niles” the show was shot in real time (read 22 minutes of screen time read 22 minutes real life moments). The episode starts with Frasier reflecting on how it has been a year since he has moved to Seattle. Niles then asks Frasier whether he is happy and the rest of the episode shows Frasier's daily life and his struggle to answer the question. I can not say how much I love this episode.
I wonder if that line was also a reference to Frasier's “homage” to the movie as well.

Hi Beth -
Yes, the Moon was void on the 16th until 10:13 here in New Mexico. I don't avoid the void moons as much as some folks I know. I don't think it's relevant at all for divination (which is how I use the dark moons), and even for active magic, you can still do some things during a void moon, by drawing on other planetary energies or by starting the magical work ahead of time and using the ritual to “launch” it. I tell my students that the void-of-course moon is like me before I have my morning coffee: I can still do stuff, so long as it is routine or arranged in advance, but don't throw something new, big, and suprising at me!
I didn't know Seattle's Best Coffee before living in Portland, in France we only know Starbucks. But I made a distinction between the two brands relatively fast, and for me, Seattle's Best is, as said before, less elitist, and has this image of “good quality”.
I was really surprised when I knew the logo will change, and when I discovered it, I immediatly thought the link with Starbucks; this is really close to their creative charte… Sad ! The old logo illustrated the authenticity and the quality. Now, with that change, and the sell of Seattle's Best in Subway and Walmart, I agree with you, I think Seattle's Best's image will be affected in a bad way.
And if the goal of Starbucks' president was effectively to use Seattle's Best as their cheaper coffee, that means reducing costs and I'm afraid the quality will be affected. Added to the potential negative image caused by walmart partnership, it may be hard for Seattle to keep its “high quality” position.
Yeah, and I can sing, lol. I don't play any soca instruments, but I come wit meh bottle an spoon, lol.
