@imadey0utube sound quality i would think. everything from this show is tight as hell. although, having watched this dvd numerous times, i think it took them until after the bridge section of Blackened to really get warmed up. If you listen closely, the beginning of blackened does sound a little less tight and hetfield’s voice a little weak. but then compare that to when they come back into the main part after the bridge, they are fucking dominating! METALLICA FUCKING RULES ALL
It’s either the sound quality sucks or the fast guitar parts are really sloppy.

Whatever you think about old vs new MetallicA, real fan will always love them! Load, Reload and everything else are still awsome! They’ve gone in a different direction, it’s ok but it’s still MetallicA. Real fans will always follow them wherever they go! I say long live to MetallicA and fuck all those new stuff haters!

Just because someone likes Metallica’s old stuff over the newer, how does that make them a poser? Does that mean all metalheads only like metal ‘to portray a hard image of themselves’? They completely changed direction with Load (although I don’t really think they ’sold out’), so it’s natural their old fans would be annoyed. If everyone had the same taste in music, the world would be a very dull place.

There may not be real or fake metallica, but i have a hard time respecting load n reload n stanger because they seemed to have done it to keep mainstream, because they knew they would make a fortune. After all, they started out goin against the grain. I happen to love their early thrash shit. It just seems they have sold out. But you cant expect them to be the exact same people into the exact same after almost 30 years, life unfortunately doesnt work that way. Keep that in mind. Keep it real

also all of a sudden they become crybabys and need a therapist in their band because thier egos got so big that they decided they couldnt bother to cope on their own so instead they used some of their overflowing money to hire a therapist (not to mention that years after wearing regular t-shirts and jeans theyre now buying armani exchange)…lars has gotten lazy, kirk can even do some of his old solos (or even all of one) and james’ voice sucks….rob is a great musician but he doesnt belong
my fav band is van halen yet i can say that van halen three and the 3 songs they put out with sammy in 2004 are terrible……..let me tell you why metallica became shit…when they first came out there was nothing else like them before…then after the black album (which amidst the obviously more commercial sound it was still ballsy, heavy, and fast) they sounded like pretty much every alternative metal band in the nighties…from something original to a fucking lemming band….
that may be true for most people but how would you feel if cannibal corpse started doing journey covers?….i love both journey and cannibal corpse but they do their own thing and thats the way it should be….following a band blindly is not a good idea..for one it shows how ignorant as a music fan you are but also it shows how inept you are at distinguishing between a bands great material and the shitty material
