My found art collection / homage to Seattle artists. These 4 artists were the most inspiring when I moved here 3+ years ago. Their stuff is getting harder to find around town so I decided to grab one of each to preserve them, along with my romantic memory of what the streets looked like when I landed here. It’s quite the mental conundrum, taking these down to preserve them. Oxymoron? I found this Pars sticker (center) on Pike in front of Havana while searching for the ChickenKid last week. I went back today for it. It took me about 25 minutes to pry it off the sign with my pocketknife as to not destroy it. It’s getting really hard to find his stuff around town except for fat black Pars tags around the Hill. Still LOTS of bald man stuff (purple/red) around town…..dude got way up high all over the city and those pieces aren’t going anywhere. Good look, Baldy. Same with a handful of large handpainted Chickenkid stickers way up. Denny vs I-5 reach is especially daredevil. I found this CK hand-drawn sticker (far left) in a newspaper distro box down at 4th and Stewart….another 25 minute carving extravaganza…CK is in NYC now. PGEE is historically my favorite of the bunch. I got this PGEE sticker (far right) from a newspaper distro box down by Zebraclub on 1st awhile back. Respect and love to all these guys. Next up on this wall will be Narboo. Not sure if this wall is more of an art gallery or a hunting trophy display, and seeing as though I used to cover Orlando w/ my stuff, I’m not sure how I feel about my acts of taking these down, but I sure do love having them and keeping them safe. I figure as long as they are just stickers then whatevs. My guess is that the taboo of taking them down will wane as time passes, much like dj’ing off cd’s and laptops did….and electronic music in general before that.

I am laughing SO hard. I just love my trips to Sam's with all six kids in tow! I can't imagine how you got all of that through the store and checked out with all of that AND the kids. OMG!
