@gypman921 You shook his hand? Man, am I jealous… I’m 16, and I’ve been playing the bass for almost 2 years now. I make a point to pick it up at least once a day. I’m the best bassist I know, and I know a lot. Anyway, he was the reason I began to play the bass, and he’s the reason I won’t quit until my fingers break from playing too much. I truly wish I could have at least talked to him and asked him a few questions. He seems like the kind of guy who would want to listen to what you had to say

Amazing what you remember when youre young i think i was 9 or 10 when i met the band at a concert my dad was a metallica nut. But the warmness in his hand shake and the pat i got on my head made me feel like i knew the guy all my life. I started to play bass because of him but i never truly purused it i wish i had now
MAn cliff was awesome and having met the guy at a meet in greet you couldnt have met a more down to earth guy with a amazing talent. I shook his hand a year before he passed and it wasnt the lame youre wasting my time shake you get from most celebrities. He made sure you felt welcome you werent just a fan to him you were his family as well. Rest in peace Cliff Ill be coming to hear you play once again. PEACE!!
