In response to “Anonymous” in Comment No. 1, in specific regards to “taking notes”: that is what the Judicial Council ruling amounts to, and was referenced in the original article.
This reporter would like to clarify that the effects and reactions of the judicial council ruling were covered in the Spring 07 article; not the trial of Fall 06.
What the Judicial Council should have done moves into the area of news/SGA analysis and not news reporting. As far as this reporter is concerned the issue has been exposed, and also the reaction of that branch of the Student Government.

This article pertained to the space race between the Soviets and Americans. Unfortunately, the Soviets had beaten us in the race. Americans were disappointed with the Soviet's acheivement thinking that America would win the race, but President Kennedy did congradulate them on their accomplishment. I believe the Soviets did a fine job in the space race, as well as Americans in the years to follow.

This prosthetic isn't as advanced as the one the swedish have been developing. That one actually has touch sensors that directly interface directly with the neurons. It's kinda depressing, since non-invasive prosthetics that merely read muscle twitch aren't even in the same ballpark as the swedish prosthetic that gives it's wielder back the sensation of touch, so that they can feel what they are holding.

Polly Toynbee is right to criticise the government for threatening access to justice for the most vulnerable members of society, against which the bar has been campaigning for some time (Yes, legal aid will be cut, but not where it hurts the silks, 6 March). But the focus of her anger is sadly misplaced. It is not the fees of criminal barristers in "high profile criminal cases" which have been left "untouched". The combination of Labour’s cuts in its last term in government and further cuts imposed by the coalition government means fees for murder cases have been slashed by an eyewatering 40%. The real problem is that the taxpayer continues to fund legal aid for criminal cases involving hugely wealthy defendants whose assets have been frozen under restraint orders. Assets under restraint can be released under judicial control to cover defendants’ children’s private school fees, but not to cover the cost of their lawyers.
