Ive been watching around and it seems alot of people want this movie on youtube. And now that ive watched it i can see why. It has all the bands you know and love, and more bands that you will come to know and love after you see it. I hope all of you enjoy.

We might slag off current trends and scenes, but this doco makes it look like Grunge became horrible horrible bullshit.
@JayT851 no point in fighting but i agree. alice is on a different level of depth and genuine talent. nirvana was just loud pop music. bleach was in a direction that i could more agree with. but they lost it with nevermind… you should check out a band called willard.. they are a grunge band that never made it big because they told sub pop to fuck off. they only have one cd and its fuckin’ juicy.
Saying which band is better is purely subjective. I will say that Pearl Jam, AIC and Soundgarden have much more complex guitar work. You can learn any Nirvana song on guitar within a year or two, while it would take years to master the solo played around the 7 minute mark. Cobain’s amazing vocal ability is what propelled Nirvana and why they were so popular. I do think that PJ AIC and SG all would have made it cause grunge was starting to get big, Nirvana just pushed along quicker

@TheGriff45 Okay well ill just say that calling Nirvana the greatest grunge band is like calling Metallica the greatest thrash metal band because neither of them are. your just a Nirvana fan thats all and your pissed because AIC is more talented and writes better songs and has better lyrics. Go on Alice in chains VS Nirvana on youtube and see how many people prefer AIC thats all.
@TheGriff45 Dude.. Nirvana never made AIC famous or Soundgarden or Pearl Jam they all put out great music that was actually better then over rated Nirvana. And if you watch the grunge documentary they will say that AIC is grunge but more of a metal band. AIC is unique no one sounds like them. Anyone that thinks Nirvana made them famous is a idiot.
You don’t like it? Well, stay in your garage or your basement and continue to be underground. You had no idea what is expecting you? Well, once you find out change it if you don’t like it! But no- they all continued ( until someone died or the band split up) to do their big shows rather than, what they say at the beginning shows where only friends from other band would attend. It sounds a bit like : oh, i don’t want the money and the fame, but what can i do – I have to take the “crap”. Pshhh..
don’t get me wrong, this is the type of music i listen to most and i love it and will keep on listening to it probably till i grow old. But what the hell are they talking about about the whole Seattle scene being over exploited and overly popular. Well guess what?! no one forced any of them to sign the big record deals, to do the interviews, to do photo shoots and do huge gigs. It was all their personal choice. Why complain about something that you brought upon yourself??!

Why do Portland and Seattle need to be in the same league to continue their rivalry?
I can imagine an expanded Cascadia Cup that includes Seattle, Portland, Vancouver and San Jose. Maybe it's pre-season tournament. Or maybe pare it down to an annual not-so-friendly game between Seattle and Portland for the Cup.
I don't want to sound like I'm against Portland having an MLS side. Au contraire, Arto. I think Vancouver should have one too — eventually — and we could continue the Cascadia Cup based on inter-league play. But the rivalry will still be there when all the teams are in the same league again. (Of course, this assumes that Seattle will have an MLS club in 2009, which seems pretty certain.)

You know the sad part about this Seattle/ bears game is that Seattle could have won! Carlson got hurt early and it changed everything game calling wise but I think bates seattle oc has to learn how to adjust if it's not there for RB lynch or wr William you adjust stockly was open all day and Ben obomanu also and he should have went to those guys! Seattle was not opportunistic today they had alot of chance for take aways and they failed!
