Prince Caspian. Both books were mostly expository in nature with little action save for the ends (beginning and end).
With the Caspian movie they chose to embellish what action there was and invent an entirely new sequence (the mid-night raid on the castle) to ratchet up the excitement.
However, with HP6 it seems as though they decided to take most of the action/excitement out, especially the end sequence.
Fans of the book(s) will always have something to complain about, but here I think it's justified. Don't get me wrong – I loved the movie and I love brooding plotting along with awkward teen romance done well (ha), but what was missing from the end was wholly unsatisfying]]>
