You can do some things in order to get them through their difficult periods and continue to see them through the entire dilemma that stress can bring to someone&#039;s life.  It is important for you to be a good method of support for them and to let them know that you are always going to be there for them.</p>
<p>If you are trying to help someone with stress, you need to be a good support for him or her.  Call them as often as you can. Ask how they are doing and if they need anything.  Be there for the person when they want to talk and open up about things.  This can be one of the best ways to help someone that is dealing with stress and needs to find help.</p>
<p>If a person is alone, you can call them up and ask to dinner. Invite them over to the house to watch a movie or play board games.  Do anything that you can in order to involve them in some form of physical activity.  If they are depressed from stress, being alone may only add to their problems and may even create more in the end.  </p>
<p>Being a true friend means being there to lend a hand and help when necessary.  When a person is suffering from stress, they may not ask for help that they want.  It is important that you are looking for the signs and know when you need to intervene with some help.  You can make a difference to them just by being their friend.  This is the most that you can do for them to help them in a bad situation.  </p>
<p>Watch for the warning signs of stress and the depression that it can cause.  Look for signs of distress like not eating, staying at home all the time, pushing away friends and loved ones, not going to work and if their appearance suddenly changes. These are all signs that there may be a problem in their life and they may need to have a little extra attention from their friends and other method of support.  </p>
<p>Just be a friend and help them get through the tough times.  Offer you hand and tell them that it will be all right.  This is the most effective way that you can help someone when they are dealing with stress.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stress is a very popular part of society.  It is not addressed in the correct way for most people.  There is so much discussion about depression these days because there are more and more people that are faced with it.  There are many causes of stress and most of them are very popular with most people while others are not so well known.</p>
<p>Many people have stress because they are so tired.  If a person is not getting enough sleep, they are going to be irritable and not in the right state of mind.  They may be an easier target for getting stress because their body and mind is so vulnerable to it. </p>
<p>There are other causes for stress as well.  For some people they are having a hard time at work.  Maybe they are working too many hours and are not getting home to spend time with family like they would want.  In some instances, a boss may be too demanding or yell at you for no good reason.  This is enough to make any person feel upset and depressed. If you have a long commute home from work and the stress of traffic is getting to you, this can cause some major problems.  For some people, they may start to have road rage or anger towards other drivers on the road.  This is a definite cause for people to gain too much stress.  </p>
<p>Another reason for stress is being fired or laid off from a job.  If a person is having trouble at work, or they have lost their job, they are going to find themselves with feelings of depression and anxiety.  This is something that needs to be addressed by the person so that they can get the help that they need.</p>
<p>If a person is worried about money, they may be more inclined to have stress in their life.  When a person is worried that they cannot pay their bills or if they are not earning enough money, they will start to feel depressed from all the worrying.  This can also cause relationship problems at home.  If a person is having money troubles, it may start to affect the way a husband and wife gets along.  This can even lead to divorce and separation.</p>
<p>If you are having family problems with a certain family member, you may find that you are adding stress into your life.  This is something that can be avoided if you are willing to confront your problems head on with the family member.  This can fix the situation and make it less stressful. Stress is very common and it is found in just about everyone.  It can be hard to deal with but working through it can be a good way to eliminate it help the person live a happier and healthier life.</p>

To lessen your stress while you are traveling you need to prepare yourself for the trip, for where you are traveling too and you need to keep your stress levels down so you enjoy your trip for the entire time you are out traveling. </p>
<p>To reduce stress while traveling too and from work, leave yourself plenty of time. In allowing yourself an added fifteen minutes, you can easily reduce the stress you feel in traveling to work everyday. Reduce stress you feel so you are not in a hurry all the time. Waking up early or at least on time all the time is going to help you reduce the stress your feel daily. Reduce your stress while traveling to work by turning the radio on, and listening to some soft music, or at least music of your choice. Soothing noised music you love, is going to help you turn that stress away. </p>
<p>Reduce stress while traveling with children. To reduce your stress, you need to travel at night, when the children are sleeping, or bring along activities that are going to keep the children occupied while you are traveling. Videos, DVD&#039;s, board games, music and such as all great way of keeping your children occupied while you are traveling so they don&#039;t stress you out. Children can easily become bored and cranky. Make sure you are traveling in the shortest routes possible, and during the times when children are not hungry or will want to get out and move around in the sun. Traveling is easiest first thing in the morning and late in the evening. </p>
<p>Stress while traveling is going to be less involved, less noticed if you are to remain calm and cool while you are standing in line, standing waiting to eat, waiting to cross a bridge, waiting to get through the tunnels, even while you are waiting to check into your hotel. Be patient. Remember, you have all the time in the world; you don&#039;t have to be any where at any particular time. You are on vacation and waiting, in slow lines is all about part of being on vacation and while traveling. Take a deep breath and read your book, listen to your music, talk to your family and think about all the good things that are bound to come yet.  Leave stress behind by preparing yourself mentally to wait and to be more patient.</p>

To avoid this from happening to you don&#039;t let things get to you as much as you do. It is all up to you to avoid letting these types of things to happen. Stress is what a lot of people go through in their every day life.</p>
<p>There are a lot of ways to stop stress from happening to you or even your household. Don&#039;t worry about things until you find out for sure that if it is something to a thing to worry yourself about. Worrying about a lot of things is the main source of what causes stress.</p>
<p>People worry about their future a lot. You cannot sit and worry about your future while you are focusing on the presents of your life now. Also bad things that have been bothering you that happened in the past is some thing that stresses people. Think about it you did it, it was a mistake, and it is over and done with now so why let it stress you out. Just think every one in this world makes mistakes.  Life is way to short to worry the whole way through it. You will not enjoy life if you worry or stress over things every day. </p>
<p>A good way to reduce stress at home with your <a href="http://oaseattle.com/tags/kids" style="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" onmouseover="self.status='http://oaseattle.com/tags/kids';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">kids</a> is to do things everyday as much as possible. Fun things like going for ice cream go to a park, go to the movies, go bowling, and things that are fun like that. This will keep not only you, but also your children from getting stressed about things. </p>
<p>A good way to reduce stress for yourself if you do not have any <a href="http://oaseattle.com/tags/kids" style="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" onmouseover="self.status='http://oaseattle.com/tags/kids';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">kids</a>, is to go out with friends have a good time don&#039;t think about things while your out and about. This will help to keep your mind off of things, and keep you from having a lot of stress. </p>
<p>There are certain times in life that there are no ways around being stressed about what is going on. Having a love one in the hospital for three months, loosing a family member, and different things like that. Those types of things are stressful, but you got other things to focus on The best thing that you could do for them people, is don&#039;t worry things will get better and pray for them.</p>

No matter what the reason is, you need to deal with it and find a way to smooth your stressful situation.  There are some things that you can do to help make the stress disappear and make your life fun and happy again. </p>
<p>Smoothing stress can be anything that you like to do.  If you enjoy long evening walks alone or with a loved one, this is a great way to relieve your stress.  You can enjoy this time to talk about your feelings and things that are causing stress in your life.  </p>
<p>You can also take long rides in the country.  Getting out of the house and getting some, fresh air may be what you need for a nice pick &#039;me up&#039;.  This is a great opportunity to take in the sights and the different atmosphere that surrounds you.  You can take the drive alone or with someone special to make it wonderful romantic getaway.  Plan a romantic picnic lunch for you and your special someone as well.</p>
<p>Taking a hot bath is something that works to smooth out any kind of stressful situation.  You can take the time to fill the tub with hot water and lots of bubbles and this will give you the safe haven that you are looking for to ease out all of your stress. Light some candles for the aromatherapy that your mind needs to get it relaxed and feeling free.  This will help to take away the stress and the problems that take over our body and mind.  </p>
<p>Drink a cup of your favorite tea.  You can sit back and relax with your favorite brew and enjoy a good book or watch the stars in the sky.  This is a great method of relaxation that your mind and body needs to relieve the stress.  You will be able to appreciate the time that you have to yourself and let your mind wander freely.  </p>
<p>When you know how to calm your stress and your body, you will find that you can deal with more situations and the stress is not taking over your body.  You will be able to break away from the cycle that stress can cause and this will bring you back to place that you want to be.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Having stress can affect the body in many ways.  It is something that can bring emotional and physical problems to the body and there a person should take the appropriate steps to deal with it.  </p>
<p>There are many ways that stress can harm the body.  The release of chemicals called catecholamine from brain will include hormones that include adrenaline and epinephrine.  A person may feel an increase in their heart rate and blood pressure.  This will occur when the body is feeling the stress and their lungs and heart are going to work harder.  The rate of breathing will increase and the lungs will take in more oxygen.  </p>
<p>The blood flow increases to get the body ready for other demands that stress brings on.<br />
A person will probably have dryness of the mouth.  Blood flow will decrease to areas that are less important for basic survival and this will include the mouth.  The cause of dryness of the mouth will mean that a person will have a hard time talking and swallowing. </p>
<p>The skin can become clammy as the blood flow is diverted to vital organs and muscles.  You will feel hot or cold when this happens and you may have feelings of hot flashes as well.  You will also find that digesting food is more difficult and you may experience stomach problems like nausea or cramps.  </p>
<p>Having long-term stress can lead to physical or psychological damage to the body.  Stress develops slowly into more serious problems, which can include anxiety disorders or depression. This is when a person will feel lonely and disgusted with their body and will not want to be around any other people.  When this is the case, it is time for them to get the help that they need to cope with their stress.  This is the only way that they can get rid of the stress that is ruining their lives.  </p>
<p>Stress can make a person push their loved ones away.  It can affect personal relationships and make it hard for people to want to be around you.  Some people will get irritable and upset over the smallest thing.  They will get angry easily and find themselves yelling at the people that they love the most.  This is a normal side effect of stress but it can be helped and a person can start to feel like themselves again with a little help and understanding.</p>

Helping your child through stressful times in their life is going to be important. As you teach your teen to handle stress, and not to handle stress for them, but on their own, you are going to be teaching them life skills. </p>
<p>Your teen is going to face stress, when grades come out. To fight the stress about grades, talk to your teen about how they are doing in school all the time, not just at report card time. Voice options, such as, if they get a bad grade, offer to help them learn the subject. Spend extra time learning about history or calculus and get the teen interested in getting a better grade. To get a better grade, a teen has to work hard all semester. One failing grade can be overcome and shouldn&#039;t be a matter of too much stress. Avoid the stress of failing for the year by giving your teen the opportunity of a tutor, or of your own abilities in that subject. </p>
<p>Your teen is going to have stress in their life when it comes to peer pressure. Pressure about doing drugs, cutting school, and stress about having sex. Giving your teen information about what they can have in life and what they won&#039;t have in life if they are to make the wrong choices is going to help them avoid stress. Help them choose the right friends, help them to have fun without drugs, and provide options of where they can hang out so they won&#039;t be tempted to make the wrong choices. Without knowing it is ok for a friend to come over and watch movies all the time, a teen is not going to bring friends home. Give your teen options and leave stressful situations behind, as they learn to make choices that are not going to cause worry, stress, and possible problems in the future. </p>
<p>Every teen is going to feel stress about having sex at some point in their life. To make the transition easier, a teen should be able to talk to a parent, or to an adult about sex and what to do about pressure. If a teen does not feel ready to have sex, they will shun away from the situation, change friends, and drop a girl friend or boy friend. These are normal situations. To give your teen help during these stressful years, don&#039;t urge on relationships. If a choice has been made, let it be. Teens make choices because they feel they believe in the outcome. Give your teen advice, but don&#039;t try and make their decisions for them. If you come on too strong, a teen may just do the opposite just because they want to prove you wrong so avoid giving only ultimatums, but tell the teen about choices for the best possible outcome.</p>
