When you search for a certain something on a search engine it opens up a number of pages containing possible answers for your search. These ‘answers’ are your search results and the pages which contain these are the SERP or Search Engine Result Pages . Now, consider the many times that you have probably used a search engine , and the many results which each of these searches have raked up. If you think about it closely you will probably discover that out of all those million SERP’s that you have opened up through your searches each time you have probably visite d at the very most the first 3 pages of results, the rest you have ignored like they didn’t even exist.

As the owner of a website being thus ignored by visitors and sidelined by search engines has probably kept you up nights wondering exactly how you might better the position of your site . Well the answer is simple; through SEO.

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization refers to a process by means of which a website earns high ranking amongst the search results, gets a coveted place on the SERP and thereby pulls in a large chunk of ‘unique’ visitors.

Who needs SEO?

Websites can broadly be classified into 4 different types:

• Personal sites
• Corporate sites
• Sites providing information
• E-commerce sites

As is obvious the first two types of website s can hold their own without using SEO. That is because they are target group is in itself a niche and it doesn’t want or need audiences beyond that niche. However, that cannot be said for the last two types of website s. If you build a site primarily to circulate information or for commercial use then you would definitely need unique visitors, these may be found only by means of good ranking on SERP’s and therefore by means of SEO.

Watch your content, get the right visitors. If you want to lure the right visitors into your website then simply use the right words. Although search engines do not read they do scan the site ’s text. The more relevant your content is the higher your chances of a better ranking.

Another important consideration, while on the topic of content, is keywords. Your keywords are words or phrases which summarize or represent the main topic or subject of your site , when a search engine scans the body of your website ’s text it picks up these repeating words and match them with the words being searched if they match then you get a high ranking.

When selecting your keywords make sure you choose words which are most likely to be used by users searching for a site like yours or subjects covered by your site . After you have selected them sprinkle them abundantly within the text of your site . However be careful that you don’t unnecessarily stuff them at inappropriate junctures cause that might attract criticism or even a penalty. Your keyword density per page can be anywhere between 5-15%, depending on of course how skillfully you might choose to repeat them. Make sure that you use your key words/phrases freely in the first two paragraphs of the text. Also, remember to include them in the concluding line of your text. But most importantly use them in your anchor text, certain Search Engine’s like Google put a lot of importance on the anchor text of your inbound links.

Judge for yourself

Here are the reasons we think optimization is a must, you decide for yourself.

• More than 80% of net-users find websites by means of search engines .
• 90% of these users do not bother to check beyond the first 30 results.
• 75% of those using search engines intend to buy a product or service.
• “Professional SEO is twice as effective as all other internet marketing methods and 8 times more effective than banner advertisements.”

Energy Healing 101: Pranic, Tantric, and Reiki

You have probably come across exotic-sounding terms such as “chakra”, “prana”, “aura”, and “tantra” in your course of reading books on spirituality, sex, and healing in the New Age literature section of the bookstore. But what’s the real scoop behind these exotic vocabularies?

Are All Energy Healings the Same?

Chakra or energy center is a term used in pranic healing, an ancient Hindu system of Energy Healing. “Prana” means life energy. “Aura” is another terminology traced to pranic healing. Aura is a non-physical body that consists of energy, which exists along with our prapidshare.comhysical body. The aura that covers our body is said to have seven layers pertaining to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual as manifested by energy. Studying the color and thickness of auras give ideas on the state of health of individuals. Six colors are associated with aura and interpreted into six personalities. These colors are all present in an individual but one or two are more pronounced.
Green – ambitious achiever
Blue – spiritual peacemaker
White – unconventional chameleon
Red – activist
Orange – creative communicator
Violet – psychic

Although Tantra is popularly associated with the peculiar practice of sex and spirituality, it is another method of Energy Healing. It comes from the word “tan” which means to spread or expand. The concept of connectedness is a recurring theme in Tantric writings on sex and spirituality. As a method of healing, spirituality and sex figure prominently. It is presupposed that the union of man and woman can reach spiritual levels during orgasm, which removes the body and mind off collected impurities. These impurities being negative energies can in turn manifest as physical illnesses.

Unlike pranic and Tantric healings, which have Hindu origins, Reiki originated from Japan. It is relatively younger than pranic and Tantric healings having been rediscovered in the early 1900’s. Reiki stands for universal energy, an energy brought forth by higher intelligence. Students of reiki are taught how to tap this energy to heal physical, emotional, and mental illnesses.

Although pranic , Tantra, and Reiki are all systems of Energy Healing, they differ in the type of energy tapped for healing: life energy, sexual energy, and universal energy respectively.

The concepts of the connectedness of mind, body, and spirit; the connection of individuals to all living and nonliving things around them and to the universe; and how energy impacts physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are some of the salient similarities of these three healing methods.

Why Do People Turn to Energy Healing?

Pranic , Tantric, and Reiki are considered alternative methods of healing. In spite of the availability and relative accessibility of modern medicine, how come more and more people are being drawned to them? Here are some possible reasons:

· Energy Healing worked where modern medicine failed.

For several reasons both explainable and unexplainable, modern medical treatment failed to heal ailments and conditions in several if not many persons. Research or data may not be able to support this statement. But for the families of the dying as well as for the dying patient, they would take the risk of using alternative methods ranging from herbals and organics, faith healers, witch doctors, and New Age healing techniques just to be get well.

· People perceive modern medicine to be isolating.

Medical treatments are oftentimes focused on the disease and its causative agent, which can make a patient feel isolated and treated like a mere host of the disease. Although recent developments in hospital practice are gradually promoting the holistic treatment of a patient, the perception still persists. Unlike in Energy Healing, since energy and spirituality are intimately linked, the patient feels that all aspects of his health are being attended to.

· Energy Healing is non-obtrusive and natural thus it is safer.

Repeated surgical procedures are physically and emotionally traumatic for most patients. It is but a logical and attractive option to both patient and families to look for less stressful health interventions. Moreover, with the rising popularity of New Age religions, going natural is the way to go.

· Energy Healing is a good way of relieving stress.

Meditation is part and parcel of Energy Healing methods and this is an added come-on for highly stressed people. Moreover, sophisticated equipment is not required thus it becomes all the more convenient for students and future students of Energy Healing.

The battle between alternative healing and mainstream medicine continues as both present the benefits of their approach. But in the final analysis, what matters is the restoration of good health.

There are three main types of Credit cards that are common in America. They are travel and entertainment cards such as American Express or Diners Card. These have to be paid in full at the end of the month and are liberal on spending limits.

The second major credit cards are the bank cards such as Master Cards, Visa, GM, and Ford cards sponsored mainly by the banks. The bank defines spending limits, which in the bank parlance, is known as the credit lines, and each offers different terms and conditions. Banks offer a choice of payment methods, either pay the balance in full with no interest or pay a minimum part or some part of the balance with a finance charge.

The other major type of credit card is the retail store credit cards such as Sears, J.C. Penney, Shell or Mobil. These cards, known in some countries (the ones from gas companies) as fuel cards are only accepted in specific countries and usually do not have annual fees. There is a wide disparity in the terms and conditions for the cards.

Different types of Credit cards offer several different options, depending on what your needs are. Some are geared toward individual consumers, while others are set up in ways that work best for small business needs. To know what type of credit card fits your needs, you should review a few of your options.

Money is a source of stress, no matter how much you have, or don't have. Stress is brought about by worrying what you are going to do with your money, where you are going to get money, and how you are going to pay the bills next. To lessen the stress in your life, you are going to have to make your money work for you, and your budget. Being on a budget, and sticking to that budget is going to lessen the stress in your life.

If you have too much stress in your life because of stress, you first need to sit down and think about what you have. You have money coming into the home for work, or from any other source. The money you have coming in usually is not going to change. Now you have to seriously think about where you spend your money. If you are spending much of your money on eating out, on going to the movies and not paying the bills, you have some serious thinking to do. You need to list all the expenses for the home.

It can be stressful thinking about how many bills you have, but in the end, you are going to shorten the stressful times in your life as you take control of your bills and expenses. In reviewing where you are spending your money and how you are spending your money, you will have to make a few decisions. Decide where you are going to find an extra $100 per month. This could mean you don't eat lunch out, that you don't go to the bar everyday, or perhaps that you are not going to stop at the store every day after work but just one day a week. You need to cut bills, and cut the stress about money in your life so you can feel better about your finances every day.

To cut stress about money, you should also put a plan into effect that will help you create a savings account. A savings account can be started with just five dollars a week. As small as that may be, when you really have an emergency you don't have to stress out about money because you will have a few bucks in the savings account that will get you through that emergency time. Learn to cut on expenses, and save money, both are great methods of cutting the stress in your life when it all comes down to money!

If a person is dealing with stress on a regular basis and doing nothing about it, it will be considered long term stress. Long-term stress can lead to physical or psychological damage to the body. Stress can cause the body the following problem in their life.
Physical disorder can be a cause of chronic stress.

Stress can develop into serious problems, like anxiety or depression, which can be even more serious to your health. Both of these problems can be very dangerous for most people. They can cause a person to distance themselves from their loved ones or their career. This will cause the person to feel sad and dysfunctional at the same time. Heart disease is another problem that can come from long-term stress.

Mental and physical stress is a trigger for an unstable angina. This chest pain is caused by lack of oxygen reaching the heart. There is a higher risk for serious heart events like heart attacks. A person can even die from this problem and sudden stress can cause the heart arteries to block. They can stop the flow of blood to the heart.

Stress can also cause the body to have high blood pressure. This problem can harm a person for lot of reason. This can cause a person to have to go on medication to help them lower their blood pressure and it may eventually lead them to have a stroke if it is not taken care of in the proper way.

Long-term stress can cause the immune system to become less effective. This leaves a person vulnerable to colds and other immune problems for their body. Digestive problems can be a cause of prolonged stress. This will irritate the large intestines. A person can be forced to face diarrhea, constipation and bloating.

A person that has been dealing with long-term stress may have diet problems. They may find themselves getting an eating disorder. They may become anorexic or even obese because of the disorder. They may find that food is either the enemy or the comfort when they are dealing with stress. Diabetes is a problem that chronic stress can develop. It can also lead to arthritis for some people and the ability to control these problems may be clouded by the stress.

Many people may also have to deal with sleep disorders when they are dealing with stress. They can find that they are tired and anxious all the time and they will be missing out on the sleep that is so important for them to get. They may turn to sleeping pills and other methods to get the rest that they are longing for. However, this can cause more problems later down the road.
